SUMMARY:
Advisory referenda in certain counties. Allows the board of supervisors or the voters of any county having the urban county executive form of government (Fairfax County) to request that the circuit court order an advisory referendum in order to take the sense of the voters on a particular question. Certain matters relating to claims against the county, zoning, personnel decisions, removal of public officers, or taxes or appropriations are not subject to the advisory referendum.
