SUMMARY:
Alcoholic beverage control; home brewing of beer. Authorizes any person who manufactures beer at home to remove such beer (i) for personal and family use, provided such use does not violate ABC law or ABC Board regulations, or (ii) to give away to persons to whom beer may be lawfully sold, a sample not to exceed two ounces by volume, for on-premises consumption at events organized for judging or exhibiting the beer, including events held on the premises of retail licensees. The bill provides that this removal of beer shall not be construed to authorize its sale.
