SUMMARY:
Voter registration; mail registration. Allows a person to request a voter registration application form by mail, by telephone, in person, or through another person, and to return the completed application by mail, in person, or through another person. The bill provides for registration by mail. Following the amendment of the Constitution, effective January 1, 1995, there is no longer a constitutional requirement that persons must apply in person to register to vote.
