SUMMARY:

Selection of state depositories and investments by the Governor and the State Treasurer. Authorizes the State Treasurer, in selecting state depositories, to consider whether the activities of qualifying banks or other financial institutions enhance the supply of, or accessibility to, credit for women-owned or operated businesses in the Commonwealth. The bill provides similar authorization to the Governor and the State Treasurer when selecting investments for the Commonwealth's funds.
