SUMMARY:

Taxation of commercial mobile service. Amends the definitions of telecommunications company and telephone company for the purposes of taxation of telecommunications companies and public service corporations, respectively, pursuant to Title 58.1. Under the bill, such definitions include a person authorized by the Federal Communications Commission to provide commercial mobile service where such service includes cellular mobile radio communications services or personal communications services.
