SUMMARY:

Respiratory care practitioners. Revises the regulation of respiratory therapists from certification to licensure and changes their title to respiratory care practitioners. This bill adds two definitions to the Board of Medicine's provisions, i.e., practice of respiratory care and respiratory care practitioner. The title restriction statute is amended to provide for strict licensure.
