SUMMARY:

State Corporation Commission. Establishes a joint subcommittee to study the regulatory responsibilities, policies, and activities of the State Corporation Commission as they relate to successful economic development in the Commonwealth. The study will examine: the Commission's size, powers, rules of procedures, and funding to determine their appropriateness given current trends of deregulation to create a competitive markeplace.
