SUMMARY:

Virginia Plan for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education Commission. Establishes the Virginia Plan for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education Commission accountable to the General Assembly and charged to (i) provide legislative review and oversight of the Plan, (ii) monitor and evaluate initiatives designed to further higher education desegregation efforts, and (iii) analyze and apprise the Governor and the General Assembly of the effect of certain public policies on minorities' access to higher education in Virginia.
