SUMMARY:

Technology Assisted Waiver. Requests the Department of Medical Assistance Services to request the Health Care Financing Authority to amend Virginia's Technology Assisted Waiver for children over the age of 21 to allow for home care of certain individuals who are currently institutionalized in specialized nursing facilities as well as the provision of (i) services in group home settings,(ii) environmental modifications, (iii) assistive technology, and (iv) personal assistance services.
