SUMMARY:
Failure to pay fines, costs, etc. Requires (i) the driver's license of anyone failing or refusing to pay fines, costs, etc., be suspended until paid in full; (ii) payment of fines, costs, forfeitures, restitution and penalties be made a condition of probation; (iii) the clerk to include defendants' social security numbers in quarterly reports on unpaid fines and costs; (iv) the Department of Taxation be notified to begin collection under debt setoff; and (v) the attorney for the Commonwealth to institute garnishment and other proceedings for the collection of unpaid debts.
