SUMMARY:
Penalty for the third offense of rape, robbery or murder. Adds convictions for rape, robbery and murder offenses committed in other jurisdictions which are substantially similar to the Virginia crimes for consideration for parole eligibility. Current law provides that upon the third conviction of an offense of rape, robbery or murder, the defendant shall not be eligible for parole.
