SUMMARY:

Elections; determination of the winner; run-off elections. Provides for a run-off election on the fifth Tuesday following an election if no candidate in the election received a majority of the votes cast for the office. The two candidates with the highest number of votes in the first election are the candidates in the run-off election. The run-off election provision applies to elections for the General Assembly and all local offices.
