SUMMARY:
Stalking. Extends the provisions of the stalking law to members of a person's family or household and provides that a person may be convicted of stalking as long as one incident of stalking occurred in the jurisdiction where the defendant is tried irrespective of the jurisdiction where other incidents may have taken place. The bill also allows for the issuance of a permanent protective order and requires a person convicted of stalking to provide a blood sample for DNA analysis.
