SUMMARY:
Workers' Compensation Act; exclusion of certain employees. Excludes from coverage under the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act, any person who is covered by or eligible for benefits with respect to disability or death under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, 33 U.S.C. § 901, et seq., or the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C. § 688. This exclusion is at the employer's option and is upon prior general notification to all affected employees.
