SUMMARY:
DUI punitive damages. Authorizes introduction of evidence of intoxication of a defendant convicted of DUI in any civil action for wrongful death or bodily injury proximately resulting from the DUI violation. This evidence is deemed relevant to the issues of compensatory and punitive damages even if the defendant admits liability or requests exclusion of such evidence.
