SUMMARY:
Medicine and healing arts; auricular acupuncture. Defines auricular acupuncture for use in a publicly supported comprehensive drug treatment program and exempts from licensure a provider of a chemical dependency treatment program, who is certified as an acupuncture detoxification specialist by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association or an equivalent certifying body if such treatment is administered under the supervision of a licensed physician acupuncturist or a licensed acupuncturist.
