SUMMARY:

Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act; late charges. Provides that charges for the late payment of rent shall not exceed 10 percent of the amount of the monthly rental. The bill makes provisions for late charges in excess of 10 percent of the amount of the monthly rental unenforceable.
