SUMMARY:

Site-specific suspensions of students. Allows school boards to petition the juvenile and domestic relations court to confine a suspended student to his residence during regular school hours for the term of the suspension and to comply with compulsory attendance requirements by maintaining his classwork during the suspension. Law-enforcement and attendance officers would be permitted to return the suspended pupil to his residence without charging the parent or guardian of the child with any violation of law. The court's contempt powers would enforce the site-specific suspension order.
