SUMMARY:
Law-Enforcement Officers' Procedural Guarantees Act. Requires that the recommendations of the hearing panel convened under the Law-Enforcement Officers' Procedural Guarantees Act be final and binding. Under current Code, such recommendations are advisory only. The bill also permits either party to petition the circuit court having jurisdiction in the locality where the grievance arose for an order requiring implementation of the panel decision.
