SUMMARY:
Criminal background checks; child welfare agencies. Clarifies that the criminal background check for applicants for licensure shall apply to the applicant and to the agents or board members of the applicant if those persons are involved in the day-to-day operation of the child welfare agency or are alone with, in control of, or supervising one or more of the children. Also expands the definition of “person” to include legal entities.
