SUMMARY:

Compensation of court-appointed counsel in capital cases. Provides that counsel appointed to defend an indigent charged with a felony that may be punishable by death shall continue to receive compensation as provided for defending capital cases, regardless of whether the Commonwealth reduces the charge to any lesser offense during the proceedings, through the ultimate disposition of the case.
