SUMMARY:

Interference with public service duties of public utility. Prohibits any affiliated interest of a public service company that owns, directly or indirectly, fifty percent or more of its voting securities, from engaging in conduct which causes the probable disabling of the company from continuing to adequately perform its public duties. Under the bill, the State Corporation Commission is authorized to issue a mandatory injunction requiring such actions as may be in the public interest to remedy a violation of its provisions.
