SUMMARY:
Health records. Requires adult care residences, home care organizations, hospices, hospitals and nursing facilities to provide a patient, his attorney or representative a copy of the patient's health record at no charge if such record is necessary to support a claim or appeal under any provision of the Social Security Act and the request is accompanied by documentation of the claim or appeal.
