SUMMARY:
School board employees and criminal records checks. Clarifies the authority of the named jurisdictions to require fingerprinting and a national criminal records check of new employees, whether full time or part time, permanent or temporary, and authorizes the named jurisdictions to share, within three months of the initial information disclosure, the information on applicants who consent to the information sharing and voluntarily disclose that they have applied to more than one of the named jurisdictions. Procedures to protect confidentiality, control and storage must be agreed upon and implemented.
