SUMMARY:
Liability for willful damage by a minor. Increases parental liability for willful destruction of public property by a minor to $10,000 for damages generally and to $25,000 for defacement by paint. Current law limits recovery to $1,500. The bill also creates the same right of recovery for private plaintiffs, limited currently only to public property damage.
