SUMMARY:
Assistance for former county sheriffs disabled in the line of duty. Provides that the Commonwealth shall pay the cost of wheelchairs, including motorized wheelchairs, related appliances and equipment and certain other costs for any former county sheriff who is disabled while in the line of duty as a result of the felonious misconduct of another. The bill authorizes the release of $16,000 for such purposes and expires on December 31, 1995.
