SUMMARY:
Family day homes. Provides that a family day home provider may not qualify for licensure or voluntary registration unless notification has been received from the local governing body that the operation of the family day home is consistent with the zoning and building regulations administered by the locality. If the local governing body fails to respond within forty-five days following receipt of a written request by certified mail, return receipt requested by an applicant for licensure or registration, the family day home is deemed to be in compliance with the zoning and building regulations for the period of licensure or registration.
