SUMMARY:
Assault firearms. Prohibits the import, sale, purchase, transport, transfer or possession of assault firearms which are enumerated and defined. Numerous exceptions are provided, as is a procedure for securing a certificate of possession for such a weapon to be used in competitive target shooting. Limitations on possession of an assault firearm for which the possessor has a certificate are set forth.
