SUMMARY:
Multi-jurisdictional grand juries. Significantly expands the role of such grand juries to cover designated criminal violations and authorizes the report of evidence of any such criminal activity to the Attorney General, where appropriate. The Attorney General is authorized, with the written consent of attorneys for the Commonwealth from jurisdictions within the scope of an investigation, to make application for a multi-jurisdictional grand jury.
