SUMMARY:
Virginia Health Services Cost Review Council. Requires the Department of Health and the Department of Medical Assistance Services to establish an interagency committee, which includes representatives of affected health care institutions to eliminate duplicative and unnecessary reporting requirements of such institutions by revising and standardizing health care data reporting by January 1, 1996, and excepts nursing homes from the diversification survey. The Council must use existing data available from other state agencies to the greatest extent practicable
