SUMMARY:
Investments for public funds. Prohibits investment of public funds in any institution doing business in Northern Ireland if the institution has not implemented a plan, known as the MacBride principles, to eliminate ethnic or religious discrimination. Public funds may be invested in companies that have not implemented the MacBride principles if equally attractive alternative investments are not available. The restriction applies only to investments made after July 1, 1995.
