SUMMARY:

Fire protection; responding to emergencies. The bill also authorizes localities to enter into agreements with other localities, whether in or outside of the Commonwealth, including the District of Columbia, to provide such emergency services. Such authorization also applies to state and federal property. Under this bill, immunity from liability enjoyed currently by fire fighters is extended to emergency medical technicians.
