SUMMARY:

Impact fees for road and school improvements. The bill also provides for the imposition of impact fees on new development for schools attributable to such development. Credit of up to 100 percent of the fee may be allowed for a demonstrated fiscal benefit to the City from the development. In Chesapeake, the impact fees are capped at $3,000 per unit.
