SUMMARY:
General Assembly; conflicts of interests. Prohibits legislators from accepting compensation, beyond reasonable and necessary expenses, for representing clients before any executive branch or independent state agency in adversarial proceedings. The bill also prohibits legislators from accepting employment for compensation to represent any state agency in a legal capacity.
