HB 2160 Salvage dealers.

SUMMARY:

Salvage dealers. Provides a mechanism by which salvage dealers who purchase salvage vehicles for which salvage certificates have been issued by foreign jurisdictions can obtain nonrepairable certificates from DMV for these vehicles when the vehicles are going to be disassembled for parts. Similar provision is also made for obtaining nonrepairable certificates for vehicles not titled in Virginia.
