SUMMARY:

Provisions of subdivision ordinance. Provides, under existing law, that a subdivider or developer shall not be required to pay any money to a local government for sewerage, water or drainage outside his project but required because of his project until the governing body, by ordinance, has established a sewer, water and drainage improvement program for the area in which his project is located or, under the provisions of this bill, has committed itself by ordinance to the establishment of such a program; any payments received pursuant to this provision may be spent for engineering and related studies for such sewer, water and drainage identified in the improvement program in addition to identified facilities.
