SUMMARY:
Toll facilities. Authorizes toll-free use of the Dulles Toll Road by HOV-2 vehicles during rush hours, permits free use of toll facilities by employees of transportation facilities created under the Virginia Highway Corporation Act of 1988 (when engaged in their official duties), authorizes temporary suspension of toll collections on VDOT-controlled toll facilities in cases of public danger (such as multi-vehicle collisions, chemical spills, or natural disasters), and provides a mechanism for assessment of lost toll revenues against any party found responsible for the incident responsible for toll suspensions.
