SUMMARY:

Appointments and terms of division superintendents; public hearings. Requires the appointing school board to hold at least one public hearing prior to reappointment and contract renewal of an incumbent division superintendent. The public hearing must be conducted at least 30 days before the school board's decision-making meeting on the reappointment and contract renewal and after providing reasonable notice to the public in a newspaper of general circulation in the school division.
