SUMMARY:

Certificate of public need; moratorium on nursing facilities. Extends an exception from the moratorium on nursing home bed construction. The exception in subdivision 10 requires that an application for registration as a real estate cooperative be filed by January 1, 1994. This bill extends the date for filing such application for registration as a real estate cooperative as required by § 55-497 from January 1, 1994, to January 1, 1999, for the Virginia Beach project proposed by an association described in § 55-458 (a cooperative association).
