1995 SESSION
HB 2080 Abduction of child.
Introduced by: John A. Rollison III | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Abduction of child. Expands the definition of abduction to include a wrongful taking of the person of a minor 12 years of age or under who is not a child of the accused, thereby eliminating the need to prove the use of force, intimidation or deception. There is concern that under the current statute the inability to prove a minor victim's lack of consent to the taking would be a complete defense.
