SUMMARY:
Real Estate Appraiser Board; exemptions from licensure. Grants an exemption to the licensing requirement for any person who testifies as to real estate values in a condemnation proceeding. Case law in Virginia provides that it is not necessary to be an expert witness in order to testify in condemnation cases so long as one is familiar with real estate values.
