SUMMARY:

Insurance; fraternal benefit societies. Exempts from the operation of the Fraternal Benefit Society chapter in the insurance title (38.2), those associations, whether fraternal benefit societies or not, organized before 1880 whose members are affiliated with the armed forces or sea services of the United States, and whose principal purpose is to provide insurance and other benefits to its members and their dependents.
