SUMMARY:

Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act; abandoned property. Clarifies that the statutory procedure to be followed by a landlord in cases where items of personal property are left by a tenant after termination of the rental agreement (i.e., listing, storage for 30 days and sale upon 10 days' notice) does not apply if the landlord has been granted a writ of possession for the premises and execution of such writ has been completed in accordance with § 8.01-470.
