SUMMARY:
Campaign finance disclosure reports; enforcement provisions and penalties. Provides for notice by the Secretary of the State Board of Elections to persons who file reports that a report has not been filed or that a filed disclosure report has been found incomplete before civil penalties are assessed. The bill allows ten extra days to file reports or to correct omissions and errors in incomplete reports. The bill also provides for an additional two weeks for completion of an incomplete report upon a showing of good cause. The State Board of Elections is directed to provide instructions for persons filing reports to assist them in complying with reporting requirements.
