1995 SESSION
HB 1883 Garnishments.
Introduced by: Eric I. Cantor | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Garnishments. Provides that when the name, address and telephone number of the attorney for the judgment creditor appear on a garnishment summons, only the creditor's name shall appear on the summons rather than the creditor's name, address and telephone number. Currently, some payments are being made directly to creditors at the address appearing on the summaries, creating confusion.
