SUMMARY:

Virginia Retirement System; service or membership credit for certain teachers. Permits a teacher who was in a covered position prior to April 1, 1956, and who has not withdrawn accumulated contributions, to purchase up to two years of service credit if, after such date, the teacher returned to a covered position within a period of six years.
