Introduced by: Ward L. Armstrong | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Child support; suspension of driver's license. Authorizes the court, upon petition of an obligee or the Department of Social Services, to suspend the driver's license of any person who is delinquent in the payment of child support for at least sixty days. The procedure is similar to that enacted for the suspension of professional licenses. However, the court is granted discretion to issue a restricted license, for good cause, authorizing operation of a motor vehicle to and from work or school, during work if necessary for employment and whenever medically necessary.
