SUMMARY:

Crimes against the person; malicious bodily injury. Includes within the crime of malicious bodily injury, the use of fire by any person to injure another person. As with other malicious bodily injuries, this new crime is punishable by five to 30 years' imprisonment or if done unlawfully, but not maliciously, as a Class 6 felony.
