SUMMARY:
Line of Duty Act. Increases the compensation to beneficiaries of those killed in the line of duty as the result of the felonious misconduct of another from $25,000 to $50,000. Beneficiaries of officers whose deaths occur under specified existing Code presumptions while they are employed or within five years from their dates of retirement are entitled to receive $25,000.
