SUMMARY:

Accident and sickness insurance; coverage for reduction mammoplasty. Requires health insurers, nonstock corporations offering health services plans, and health maintenance organizations to provide coverage for reduction mammoplasty, or breast reduction surgery, under certain circumstances. The bill requires that the procedure must be reconstructive surgery performed to relieve signs and symptoms of macromastia.
